All Krewe Food Drive Challenge

We invite you and your krewe of choice to participate in the 2025 Krewe of Sparta for the Annual Humanitarian Award Food Drive Challenge!

The 2025 Krewe of Sparta Annual Humanitarian Award Challenge begins June 2024! Start gathering nonperishable food items NOW and deliver to Manna any time between now and the weigh-in party in February 2025!

Every pound of food = 1 point!

Bring double point items to help your favorite krewe win! Double point items must be pre-sorted.

DOUBLE POINT ITEMS:

• Canned Fruit in 100% Juice (20 oz. or less) (or in water; NO syrups)
• Canned Vegetables (16 oz. or less) (mixed vegetables preferred but not required)
• Oatmeal (boxes of individual packets) (low sugar and protein varieties preferred but not required)
• 100% Fruit Juice Boxes/Pouches (6-6.74 fl. oz.) (must be 100% juice)

* Max two cases of water per krewe.

* NO: flour, sugar, bulk dry goods (e.g. 50lb. bags of rice), large cans (e.g. #10 cans), damaged/expired food (determined at Manna's discretion)

* Cash gifts - $1,000 max for competition points (however, all cash contributions are welcome!). Points for cash are calculated based on USDA's value of a pound of donated product.

* Small (1-25 members), Large (26-50 members), and Mega (more than 50 members) Krewe division winners will be announced at the Pensacola Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Priscus celebration on Mardi Gras night!

* One Krewe rep can be present at scales during weigh-in.

Simply bring your donation to Manna anytime between now and the Weigh-In Party in February 2025. Let us know which Krewe is your favorite, and we’ll credit your donation to their total.
