The Clover Pick A Bowl Fill A Bowl raised more than $40,000 for Manna to feed the hungry

Pensacola, Fl. (September 16, 2019) – The Clover Pick A Bowl Fill A Bowl raised more than $40,000 for Manna thanks to the generosity of several local sponsors, artists, restaurants/vendors, donors, and event attendees. The money raised will provide more than 24,000 meals for neighbors in need in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

The Clover Pick A Bowl Fill A Bowl event on September 6 will benefit Manna

Pensacola, FL (August 26, 2019) – Manna invites the community to join them in the fight against hunger at this unique fundraiser with an artsy twist! The Clover Pick A Bowl Fill A Bowl will be held on Friday, September 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Lou Ross Center of Pensacola State College. Tickets are $40 apiece and can be purchased online at www.mannahelps.org. For each ticket sold, Manna will provide 24 healthy meals to neighbors in need.

Local First Responders Going on a “Donut Strike” to Feed Neighbors in Need

Pensacola, FL (June 12, 2019) – The Pensacola Police Department (PPD), Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) and Pensacola Fire Department (PFD) are going on strike against their beloved donuts Wednesday, June 26 through Friday, June 28 to support Manna. During the Donut Strike, first responders have vowed not to devour a single donut until 20,000 pounds of food has been donated to fight hunger in the local area, the equivalent of 26,600 meals.

Escambia and Santa Rosa Letter Carriers to Hold 27th Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

On Saturday, May 11, 2019, the letter carriers of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties will join forces to help Stamp Out Hunger in our community. In its 27th year, the National Association of Letter Carriers’ (NALC) annual food drive has grown to be the largest national single-day effort that benefits millions of Americans who struggle to put food on the table.

Harvesters Federal Credit Union to host Let’s Feed Somebunny benefitting Manna

Pensacola, FL (March 28, 2019) – Harvesters Federal Credit Union will partner with Manna again this year for Let’s Feed Somebunny 2019. Harvesters’ Safari Bus will be stationed at Cordova Mall – A Simon Mall, between Chili’s and Red Lobster, on April 12 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

8th Annual All Krewe Humanitarian Award Food Drive Challenge to benefit Manna

Pensacola, FL (February 19, 2019) – On Sunday, February 24, the Krewe of Sparta will hold its 8th Annual All Krewe Humanitarian Award Food Drive Challenge at Manna Food Pantries, 3030 North E Street. Mardi Gras Krewes have worked to collect food donations for several weeks leading up to the food drop-off and weigh-in event.

Manna and Rotary team up to fight hunger on February 16

Pensacola, FL (February 8, 2019) – Rotary Clubs of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties will once again join Manna in the fight against hunger on Saturday, February 16. The 8th Annual Rotary Against Hunger service project will create more than 50,000 meals that will be donated to Manna for distribution through Manna’s programs and pantries.

Manna receives $15,000 grant from Publix Super Markets Charities

Pensacola, Fl. (September 19, 2018) – Publix Super Markets Charities recently awarded a $15,000 grant to support the operation of Manna’s three pantries and seven programs in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. The grant will support the equivalent of 9,000 healthy meals in the form of groceries to families, children, and senior citizens.
