Allen Turner Hyundai employees’ donations surpass the 100,000-meal mark for Manna

Pensacola, FL (January 28, 2020) – Allen Turner and the employees of Allen Turner Hyundai recently presented a check to Manna, as they do annually, bringing their total donations since 2012 to more than $185,000. Their donations are the equivalent of more than 110,000 healthy meals for neighbors in need in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Allen Turner Hyundai employees give back by donating via payroll through the year, and at the end of the year, Allen Turner matches their donations dollar for dollar.

“We’re so grateful to the wonderful Allen Turner Hyundai team for their continued support and generosity. Their gifts each year allow us to continue our work of providing healthy food to our neighbors in need,” said DeDe Flounlacker, Executive Director of Manna. “Allen Turner Hyundai is a wonderful, committed partner in our fight against hunger.”

Manna operates three emergency food assistance pantries that are designed to provide short-term assistance to individuals and families by providing a 5-day supply of nutritious food to each individual, packed according to USDA Standards for a Healthy Diet. Manna also operates nine specialty programs with 11 community partners that provide case- and care-management to clients, addressing additional needs and finding long-term, sustainable solutions.
