Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Main Street Properties Sets Goal of Raising 12,000 Pounds of Food for Manna

The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Main Street Properties annual food drive for Manna is happening now through October 31. The public is invited to help the real estate team reach their goal of raising 12,000 pounds of healthy nonperishable food for children, families, senior citizens, veterans, and individuals in need in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

 

The public can participate by delivering nonperishable food donations to 1313 Creighton Road, Pensacola, FL 32504 through Tuesday, October 31. Realtors with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Main Street Properties are also encouraging donations by placing brown paper bags at residences in their area. These bags can be filled with healthy nonperishable food donations for pickup on the date listed on the bag.

 

Suggested donation items include:

·         Canned Fruit in 100% Juice (20 oz. and smaller)

·         Canned Mixed Vegetables (16 oz. and smaller)

·         Oatmeal (boxes of single-serve packets)

·         Microwaveable Dinners (e.g. Hormel Compleats)

 

Manna accepts and appreciates all nonperishable food donations. To ensure food safety, Manna cannot accept any rusty or unlabeled cans, perishable items, homemade items, noncommercial canned or packaged goods, alcoholic beverages, or items that have been used or opened.
